Certainly, it’s a rare occasion, where we find the cast of a film exhibiting their appearance with unique panache. It was such a moment at ‘Thozha’ media interaction meet, where we glimpsed on the stars with stylish avatars. Nagarjuna, the much acclaimed handsome star walked with elite blue shaded attires that was embellishing his handsome looks and his pleasing smile was more appealing. Karthi had his ‘Trilby’ hat eclipsing his new hairstyle with thin etched beard, veteran actor Vivekh with ‘Relaxed Pompadour’ hairs and salt ‘n’ Pepper beard and filmmaker Vamsi with the elegant white attires. Merely, a coincidence, but it all grabbed the spotlights during the morning hours of Saturday.“I wouldn’t say Thozha is a landmark in my career, but instead a life changing film,” inspiringly cited Nagarjuna, the most handsome star, who recollected his experience of watching the French film ‘The Intouchables’ and desperately felt it’s a film that should be remade here. “It’s a film that is based on true incidents and after watching it, couldn’t stop recommending it to everyone,” and continued to add that his entire family was against his decision of taking up ‘Thozha’. “My sons were adamant saying they can’t see me sitting on wheelchair and I’m now nervous as they would be watching the film this evening,” toted up Nag.
Karthi glorified the film saying, “I had to wait nearly for a year to get a good story and found this one. After watching the original version, I had a doubt whether I would do justice to it. But I’m really spellbound that director Vamsi has been groovy over his regional adaption.” Actor Vivek uttered that having journeyed in film industry for 30 years, he feels elated to be a part of Nagarjuna’s film that they don’t have any scenes together.
Editor KL Praveen affirmed that he has become an ardent fan of Nagarjuna for his ability of emoting prodigiously. “Karthi would keep everyone in laughter mode with his hilarious performance,” affirms National award winning editor. Madan Karky on his part said, “Karthi was more like an assistant director, where he would keep motivating me with good ideas on lyrics. There are two songs that signify the soul of film and others are included for entertainment.” Madan Karky furthermore added that his father Vairamuthu wrote the Chartbuster song ‘Soniya Soniya’ for Nagarjuna in Raktchagan and is now delighted to pen lyrics for him
