Post the success of Kanchana 2 an high-energy commercial masala flick Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva has hit the screens. How is it ? Read on to know.
Shiva is a tough cop with a fear-noone attitude and is almost a superhero when it comes to taking down the baddies. He is in partnership with the villain just to stand against Sathyaraj, a person with whom Shiva has a past rivalry. As the movie progresses, Shiva changes sides. Why and how forms the rest of the runtime.
Director Sai Ramani has made a typical high energy Telugu film in Tamil as it is (Pattaas). For logicless magic lovers, this film will be a treat to watch with colorful, feet tapping songs, powerful punch dialogues and almost superhero kind of fight sequences.
Nikki Galrani does what she does best in the songs, glamor and romance. She is just an eye candy who is limited to just songs and romantic scenes (which is not interesting enough). Songs are already a hit and with Raghava Lawrence’s choreography, it gives a breather to a rather loud film which has the villains shouting all the time.
If the director had kept the screenplay short, the film could have turned out to be a much better entertainment. Sans being colorful, the film looks too flashy at times and bright as well irks the audience. Fight sequences are bouncy.
Verdict: Except heroism and songs, betterment in everything could have made the film better.
