Directed by Ayappan, Pichuva Kaththi is a commercial flick that has action as its mainstay. Starring Inigo Prabhakaran and Anisha Xavier as the leads, Pichuva Kaththi holds a long list of humor specialists namely Yogi Babu, Ramesh Tilak, Bala Saravavnan and more.

The film starts off with the a happy bunch of youngsters having a gala time together. A binge drinking hangout gets them into trouble and trying to sort things out, they land themselves into much bigger trouble.

They seek help from a local goon who, in return, has them working for his petty crimes for a period of one month post which he betrays the deal to cut them loose. Instead he asks the youngsters to work for him forever by blackmailing to disclose all crimes they have done so far. How the youngsters battle it up forms the rest of the story.

The movie begins with a light note and the rural setu, lifestyle and cool attitude of the key characters breeze us through the first few minutes.

Female lead Anisha Xavier has played her role well. Inigo Prabhakaran is as usual natural with his acting and perfectly fits into a rural lad’s role.

Yogi Babu, Ramesh Tilak and Bala Saravanan need have steered the film with humor and that makes up for the rest of the part where the film falls flat. The music from NR Ragunanthan who has already enough seasoning in scoring for films having rural connect has delivered an interesting album

Verdict: Worth a watch for its humor.
