In fact, the film has felicitated one of the key real life contributors of the case, a fingerprint specialist, by making him reprise the role in the reel version as well. Karthi and Bose Venkat as sincere cops have fared great and there are many other supporting artistes who have done a role equivalent to that of a hero in terms of stunts.
