Viswasam, the 4th film in a row from Ajith-Siva’s stable is a runaway hit. Apart from Ajith’s stardom, the film has enough of factors that makes it a worthy watch from the start to end. Here are the reasons.

Editing:

Ruben’s editing is the foremost reason why the film never drops its tempo. His edits have made sure that none of the scenes are lengthy and crisp enough. Even if you don’t seem to be interested with something happening on screen, you need not worry about it as the transition to the next scene happens in just a couple of minutes. His a precise and well planned edit has helped the movie progress in a steady pace that avoids boredom throughout.

Imman:

Right from the opening credits till the climax, D Imman’s background score holds up the film high. Scoring for rural subjects has been one of his major strengths in the recent past and it happens to be the same in Viswasam as well.

Opening song Vetti Kattu is fast and peppy enough for fans to rejoice and Adchi Thookku is an adrenaline thumping song placed well. It is no doubt that ‘Kannana Kanney’ is the best pick of the lot. Imman’s multiple versions of Kaana Kanney adds to the emotional quotient in the second half.

Thala Factor:

Ajith does the role of an energetic, innocent, mischievous and powerful village guy. In the second half, he has very well mixed up rage of a faithful bodyguard and emotions of a caring father. And not to forget his dance efforts in the song Adichi Thookku. That’s some effort exclusively dedicated to his fans.

Siva:

Viswasam is probably the best of the four films Siva has teamed up together. The director has mixed factors like fun, emotions, action and entertainment in right proportions to deliver a complete family entertainer.

The screenplay has been cautiously written by the director to avoid any kind of boredom and the scene placements are good. For both movie lovers and Ajith fans, the director has provided enough content in a fitting order.

Nayanthara:

Unlike other Ajith-Siva films where the heroine has little to take care of, Viswasam has a meaty role for the female lead Nayanthara. She fits the bill and does her part well.

Verdict: A thorough family entertainer.
